Kto sme
Zahŕňa územie západného a stredného Slovenska. Sídlom eparchie a katedrálou je Chrám Povýšenia vznešeného a životodarného Kríža v Bratislave. Patrónmi eparchie sú svätí apoštoli Peter a Pavol.
Na čele eparchie stojí eparchiálny biskup Milan Lach SJ. Prvým bratislavským eparchom bol vladyka Peter Rusnák.
Naše poslanie
Naším poslaním je ohlasovať evanjelium Ježiša Krista a slúžiť veriacim byzantského obradu, ktorí žijú na území západného a stredného Slovenska. Mnohí z nich sem prišli z východného Slovenska za štúdiom či prácou. Chceme, aby aj ďaleko od domova našli živé spoločenstvo, svoju liturgickú tradíciu a duchovný domov.
Čomu sa venujeme
- Liturgia a duchovná služba: slávenie bohoslužieb a sviatostí vo farnostiach eparchie a pastoračná starostlivosť o veriacich.
- Katechéza a výchova: náboženská výchova detí, mládeže a dospelých prostredníctvom Katechetického úradu.
- Školstvo: správa cirkevných škôl.
- Charita a sociálna služba: pomoc ľuďom v núdzi prostredníctvom Gréckokatolíckej charity.
- Kultúra a tradícia: chrámové zbory, púte a uchovávanie duchovného dedičstva východnej cirkvi.
- Ochrana maloletých: prevencia a bezpečné prostredie pre deti a mládež vo všetkých našich spoločenstvách.

Who We Are
The Eparchy of Bratislava is a diocese of the Greek Catholic Church in Slovakia. Together with the Archeparchy of Prešov and the Eparchy of Košice, it forms the Greek Catholic Metropolitan Church sui iuris. The eparchy was established by Pope Benedict XVI on 30 January 2008 as part of the reorganization of the Greek Catholic Church in Slovakia, when it was separated from the original Eparchy of Prešov. It covers the territory of western and central Slovakia. The seat of the eparchy and its cathedral is the Church of the Exaltation of the Precious and Life-Giving Cross in Bratislava. The patrons of the eparchy are the holy apostles Peter and Paul.
The eparchy is headed by Eparchial Bishop Milan Lach SJ. The first Bishop of Bratislava was Bishop Peter Rusnák.
Our Mission
Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to serve the faithful of the Byzantine rite living in western and central Slovakia. Many of them came here from eastern Slovakia to study or work. We want them to find a living community, their liturgical tradition, and a spiritual home, even far from where they grew up.
What We Do
- Liturgy and spiritual care: celebrating the Divine Liturgy and the sacraments in the parishes of the eparchy, and providing pastoral care to the faithful.
- Catechesis and education: religious education of children, youth, and adults through the Catechetical Office.
- Schools: administration of Church schools.
- Charity and social services: helping people in need through the Greek Catholic Charity.
- Culture and tradition: church choirs, pilgrimages, and preserving the spiritual heritage of the Eastern Church.
- Child protection: prevention and a safe environment for children and young people in all our communities.
